Denys C. Shortt
Local entrepreneur Denys C. Shortt owner of DCS has been very involved at STFC in recent months. He is helping with strategy and has created a new website for the club which can be quickly and easily updated.
In his younger days Denys lived in Stratford-upon-Avon and was an England international hockey player.
He started DCS in 1994 (a distributor of health and beauty brands) and the company has grown to £120 million sales with 200 employees. Denys also owns and created the Enliven Health and Beauty brand.
Denys also started Enable Software in 2000 with young entrepreneur Andrew Butt. Enable now employs 20 and has sales of £3 million. Details below.
DCS Europe plc
DCS Europe plc was founded by Denys C. Shortt in 1994. They have grown to become the UK's largest Distributor of Health, Beauty and Household brands handling porducts such as Gillette, Colgate, Lynx, Dove and many more.
DCS also owns the Enliven brand. DCS has sponsored the STFC from 2010-2015. This is a 5 year deal which will give both the club and the stadium a strong future. Denys Shortt has also become a Director of STFC and will help with strategy and sponsorship. Denys recently won the scarf sponsorship by Gillette.
